Christopher Moore, MSOH, CIH, CSP, CHMM
Chris is a highly accomplished Industrial Hygienist with extensive expertise in occupational health, hazardous waste management, and regulatory compliance. He holds a Master of Science in Occupational Health (MSOH) and is credentialed as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
He has led industrial hygiene and hazardous waste programs for a multi-billion-dollar organization in the nuclear research and pharmaceutical sectors, overseeing initiatives ranging from hazardous chemical remediation in active industrial environments to wastewater permitting and compliance. As a subject matter expert, Chris has also guided programs for a Department of Energy contractor, supporting complex research operations and high-hazard work environments.
Throughout his career, he has developed and implemented policies addressing waste management for large quantity generators, chemical safety, ergonomics, laser safety, heat stress, and more. His technical expertise includes designing local exhaust ventilation for highly flammable chemicals and uranium enclosures, as well as extensive experience certifying fume hoods. He is also deeply experienced in navigating DEA, EPA, and OSHA compliance, delivering practical solutions to meet rigorous regulatory requirements.
On a personal note, Chris lives in South Carolina with his wife and two children. They enjoy kayaking, sailing, and skiing.
